2026 Eleanor Burton Scholarship
The guiding principles of the Fauquier Co. Fair Scholarship Program are to promote educational programs that incorporate high ethical standards, integrity, and consistent educational growth and achievement. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded, provided the criteria is satisfactorily met and the evaluation committee deems applicant is worthy.
Any graduate of a Fauquier County public or private school is eligible to apply.
This includes any Fauquier County resident, who:

Will be an incoming college freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior in good standing

Won't be older than 22 as of July 1, 2026

Has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
-
Must be enrolled in or will attend a higher education institution within the next calendar year (2-year or 4-year universities)

Has not been awarded this scholarship in the past
