​The guiding principles of the Fauquier Co. Fair Scholarship Program are to promote educational programs that incorporate high ethical standards, integrity, and consistent educational growth and achievement. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded, provided the criteria is satisfactorily met and the evaluation committee deems applicant is worthy.

Any graduate of a Fauquier County public or private school is eligible to apply.

This includes any Fauquier County resident, who:

• Will be an incoming college freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior in good standing

• Won't be older than 22 as of July 1, 2026

• Has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher

• Must be enrolled in or will attend a higher education institution within the next calendar year (2-year or 4-year universities)

• Has not been awarded this scholarship in the past
